RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

ANYONE who completed the August 2010 courses need not register, nor take the exam, nor even show up to this meeting.  ALL OTHER REFEREES, regardless of when you took your certification course, ARE REQUIRED TO RECERTIFY AND TAKE THE RECERTIFICATION EXAM in

order to be registered with the USSF for 2011. If you do not recertify/register, you will not be allowed to referee in 2010.

The USSF will not mail the renewal applications forms this year.  Please print out the form from the USSF website (http://images.ussoccer.com/Documents/cms/ussf/doc_6_308.pdf) and fill it out prior to your coming to the meeting.  This will speed up the registration process immensely.  We will have a limited number of blank forms available at the meeting for you to fill in; however, this will take additional time for all involved.  If possible, please have your USSF ID# (on the card you received last year).

All your paperwork will be reviewed BEFORE you are allowed to register or take the exam.  If you do not have the registration from filled out properly and the proper amount for both fees and dues, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SIT FOR THE EXAM NOR REGISTER.

The USSF fee for 2010 is dependent upon your referee grade.  The WSRO dues for 2010 are $30.00.  All checks MUST be made out to the WSRO.

COMBINED FEES:

Grade 7: $80.00

Grade 8: $75.00

Grade 9: $75.00

RISK MANAGEMENT (procedures for the 2009 year):

If you are over eighteen (18) or will turn 18 years of age by 12/31/09 you must initiate the risk
management process with Eastern New York, as follows:

1)     Sign on to enysoccer.com

2)     On top: Click on Risk Management

3)     Follow the screen procedure and click on certified referee

4)     You will receive (3) responses from the system:
-response #1 will thank you for registering
-response #2 will state you have successfully created an account with ENYYSA
-response #3 will state you are eligible or there is a problem.  Make sure you
    save response #3.

5)     In 2010, there will be no charge for this process.

Any problems contact Diana Knight at 516 766-0849 at the ENY office.

If you registered already as a COACH, and it has been less than two years, you do not have to do it again.  If you are unsure, contact Diana.

Just a few pointers, if you registered already as a COACH, and it is MORE than two years, you will need to re-register.  If you are no longer a coach and sign in under the same email address, the system WILL NOT be able to re-register you under the same email.   However, you should go in and set up a new account using a new email address and then register.

If the system asks you to pay a fee, ignore the response and continue without putting any credit card information in.  It will still complete the process.

This is a mandatory process required by the USSF so there will be no leniency for those who do not comply.
