If there is a chance of rain/cancellation due to wet grounds, before you leave for your assignment,
check your phone messages, and the WSRO website for a listing of fields pulled for Sunday games. If you don't see
your field listed then report for your assignments.
You might hear from the coach or a local league administrator. In this case, be sure that you inquire whether
just the particular game is called off or the entire slate of games for that field.
If after following the above procedures, you arrive at your game and it doesn't play, you will get paid for your
first game. Submit your game report on-line and indicate that one or both teams failed to appear or the field
was pulled.
The cancellation of WYSL travel games DOES NOT affect scheduled state cup or other
premier matches like Region 1, NERP, President's cup, MAPS, etc. Referees assigned to
these matches should contact home team coaches for state cup and your assignor for all
others.
